Polyphonic Catastrophe - More suck for your buck...

Mar. 14th, 2009 02:15 am More suck for your buck...

My 2nd 360 = Dead.   Time since it arrived from the repair shop is 1 week ago today.

I won't be recommending this system to anyone else.

Current Mood: aggravated

You have my sympathies. My good ol' launch system RRoD'd on me back on Tuesday.

It's all good though... I really wanted that red 360 Elite anyway.

I'm so sorry to hear. They must have done a lousy repair job, jeez. -_- So then your video card musta died, right? Seems like you managed to sign on a couple more times that night, after the display went out. Sounds like what happened to both Chris', at some point (Punzalan and Wisner). Their system would run, and function; but it stopped outputting video thanks to the card going out.

Although don't go telling people not to buy 360's, simply because of this. The failure of hardware, while still common enough, definitely varies from person to person. I know countless people who bought their system at LAUNCH, and whose original systems are still running fine. Scott's system was among those, at least until a few days ago anyhow.
