Well, its the beginning of my true shitstorm, I guess.

I woke up this morning to the police going over my car. Its evidence now. Apparently, it was hit with four bullets and now I'm not sure what to make of it...

The car APPEARS to be driveable but at the same time, the back window looks like it may break. And here I was supposed to drive somewhere later.

I have no clue what I'm going to do in this situation...its a new one for me.

Current Mood: pissed off

Actually, fortunately they didnt need to actually impound the card. They just took photos with those cool yellow number markers. Both of the inside and outside of my car.

My main concerns are 1) How am I going to pay for the damages? (I have to at LEAST fix the window) and 2) Should I go through insurance? I asked them for information but I havent technically filed a claim that I could be charged for...

Wow! Can't say I've ever had that happen to me..

Maybe you tell them that you have places to be and, that being your only car, they should drive you around or at least supply with some mode of transportation. After all, they're for the 'community,' right?

The only bit of humor I can draw from this is the fact that you've been playing lots of Phoenix Wright 3 as of late, and Case 5 is just plot-twist after plot-twist..kind of like your situation right now. :D

So buck up, play some DS, take your mind off of things for a bit and come back to it in a few hours. By then you will have sorted your issues and most likely have come up with a plan of attack. =)

Here's to being super-glad you weren't in the car when it happened.

You should go through insurance right away and don't worry about paying for it (if at all) until your claim is worked out to the last detail. Speaking of, be sure to take photos of the damage before you take it anywhere just in case your provider/repair shop tries to jerk you around money-wise.
